Catching Fire

If you have not watched Catching Fire, you need to do so. Like right now. Catching Fire was by far the best movie I've seen this year and it is just amazing. Not going to get into details but the movie is so much more like the book than the first one. It is so much better. Everything was done better, in Catching Fire, you have all of those favorite moments from the book. The characters are done so well and they really include a lot. The CGI got a lot better, the costumes look more... epic, the acting got better, we actually see quotes entirely from the book. The only thing I can say wasn't that good was the music played in the movie, there is next to no new themes. It's not really a bad thing but still. And I got to look at the soundtrack. Two of those songs are now two of my favorite songs. Atlas is just beautiful and it's played at the end credits (and I really do think they played a similar track in the film) and on the album we hear a new Imagine Dragons song, Who We Are. I've been playing it over and over again until I can memorize it. Back to the movie, the movie incorporates scenes I didn't think it would, mostly the elevator scene. The entire theater was laughing at Katniss's expressions, she's bringing in part of her normal attitude into the movie, which works out great. You can really see Jennifer Lawrence in this film, minus the hair.... Everyone should see this movie, me and my best friend loved it to pieces and even my dad did too. Just a warning, the ending sucks.
